Acesta se ramifică din DN 12 în centrul localității Bixad, la 13 km distanță de stațiune, și șerpuiește printre versanți care oferă călătorului imagini de o frumusețe incredibilă. Pe același drum județean 113 se poate ajunge și la Lacul Sf.
